Death Light 2 has been abeyant until 2022
Death Thin 2 has been delayed until next year.
Techland's zombie-slaying sequel was originally due to release happening December 7 this year, after already being previously delayed from the unconventional early 2020 window given at E3 2018. That's no more the case, with CEO Pawel Marchewka saying the team necessarily more time to "polish and optimize" the game.
"The squad is steady progressing with the production and the game is nearing the finishing line. The game is complete and we are currently playtesting it," Marchewka wrote in a program line. "It is by far the biggest and most ambitious cast we've e'er done. Alas, we've realised for us to bring the game to the level we see, we need more meter to smoothen and optimise IT.
"We are sorry to keep you all waiting a little yearner, but we require the game to meet your highest expectations on release and we get into't want to compromise on this."
Dying Fall 2 is now set to release on February 4, 2022. While it's forever a bummer to see games organism postponed, it's lonesome an extra two months and will hopefully give the studio spear carrier time needed to append any finishing touches. Sighted full-size games getting postponed this year is pretty inferior at this point, and Demise Light 2 likely South Korean won't be the last 2021 release getting pushed back a bit. On the bright side, it's making for a scarily built 2022.
